How to Apply & Application Rates - Liquid
TagTeam liquid contains two active ingredients: 1) a bladder containing the Rhizobia and; 2) an active powder bottle containing the Penicillium bilaii. The two components must be mixed together just prior to applying to the seed. TagTeam liquid is for on-seed application only and not for in-furrow use. One box of TagTeam liquid will treat 50 units (2,500 pounds) of soybean seed and 40 units (2,400 pounds) of peas or lentils.
Directions for Use:
- Remove the small bottle of active powder containing the phosphate solubilizer, Penicillium bilaii.
- Shake the bladder bag containing the Rhizobia well before using to ensure an even suspension (while it is still in the box). Settling of bacteria is normal during storage.
- Open the bladder bag, pour the contents of the active powder into the bladder bag. The active powder contains a green dye which will change the color of the bladder contents.
- Replace cap and mix well by shaking bladder until the color is uniform.
- If using TagTeam Extender - add now.
- Use the hose and value included with TagTeam Extender to pour the extender in the TagTeam bladder.
- Shake well.
- Attach the dosing cap and tube to the bladder. Apply to the seed as soon as possible.
- For continuous application hang the bladder directly above where the seed will pass using the reinforced hole. The bladder should hang so the dosing nozzle is at the bottom.
- Calibrate the system to ensure 2.1 fl oz of TagTeam flows out of the nozzle in the time that 50 pounds of seed passes beneath it.
- Examine the seed for uniform color to ensure proper seed coverage is obtained before filling the planter.
